Robert R.Williams
Chairman, HengTian Services LLC., Retired Executive Vice President, AsiaPacific/Latin America Investor Services, State Street Corporation
Robert R. Williams is the Chairman of HengTian Services LLC. Mr. Williams has thirty years experience in banking and investment services, most recently as Executive Vice President of State Street with responsibility for its Asia Pacific and Latin America investment services. He was involved in the establishment of Insigma HengTian Software Ltd., a strategic alliance with State Street Corporation, Insigma Technology and Zhejiang University. Mr. Williams holds the position as Chairman of the Board for Insigma HengTian Software Ltd.
Mr. Williams has extensive experience in financial services, with particular focus on process workflows and technology. He also has substantial experience with regional regulatory and fiduciary affairs. He was involved in the late 1990′s as joint leader of a senior consulting team to the Hong Kong government on the creation of the Mandatory Provident Fund and worked over an extended period, along with a number of other firms and individuals, with PRC regulators on the creation of rules and procedures to support the introduction of the open end mutual fund industry in China.
Mr. Williams is currently based in Boston. He is a director if a Shanghai-based joint venture mutual fund company, a director of a Washington-based pension consulting firm specializing in technology and workflows and is involved in various volunteer organizations in the U.S. He has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and MA from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
Kari E. Murphy
Kari Murphy is Managing Director for HengTian Services LLC. Ms. Murphy is responsible for the general company operations.
Ms. Murphy has over twenty years of experience in financial services, specializing in new business development and marketing communications. She spent fourteen years with State Street Corporation in the mutual fund and pension administration businesses. She was also instrumental in establishing a Global Corporate Communications group for the company.
Ms. Murphy began her career in 1982 at Fidelity Investments where she established and grew a 24-hour, multi-site customer service support organization within the company’s growing retail services business. She later worked at Boston Financial Data Services as Chief of Staff to the company’s president and CEO.
Albert Ma
Albert Ma is the Managing Director of Technology for HengTian Services LLC. He has over 20 years of IT management and software development experience. Before joining HengTian Services LLC, Mr. Ma was for several years the Chief Information Officer of the State Street Technology Center in Hangzhou, China. He was the core team member in setting up the IT operation locally and migration of strategic applications to the Hangzhou office.
Mr. Ma graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters Degree in Technology Management and an MBA from the Univeristy of Hull. He is a certified Project Management Professional and Certified IT Professional.
